The Richard Jewell case sounds like a fight against a very real deep state. Have to wonder how much that tickled his fantasies.
Which is why Clint “empty chair, empty head” Eastwood made a movie out of his favorite white martyr. Would have been much more socially useful to make a movie about the MF who actually did the bombings (Eric Rudolph) to remind the American people exactly who the terrorist threat is these days.

example, white evangelicals had a big old party when the us moved the embassy to jerusalem… cause word for word that’s in the king james bible ( or something )

Depends on the testament. The Old Testament reads like a psychedelic Conan the Barbarian genocidal fever dream. The New Testament reads like a kumbaya socialist hippy love fest with a dark second act (the crucifixion) and an apacolyptic acid trip at the end (Revelations). No prizes for guessing which one they are reading and which one they are ignoring.

I’m not talking about the actual bible or other interpretations. This is a very specific interpretation that Wood is espousing here. I’m well aware that not every Christian is on board with this world view, because I regularly argue against equating all Christians with these people.
This is about a world view that uses biblical text to justify all sorts of nasty things that we need to be paying attention to, because they’ve gotten in power and control one of the major parties now. 
I wish people would stop talking AT me and read my words. FFS.
