He probably could not get close to the Capitol building, as I’m guessing there is still heightened security around the complex. That LOC building is far enough away to probably be outside that security, but close enough for him to be able to say he’s posing a threat.

Yesterday I saw some right-wing scaremongering on social media sharing a picture of hundreds of terrified Afghan refugees crammed into one of those cargo planes asking “would you want this plane to land in your neighborhood??” Because obviously civilians fleeing a despotic theocratic regime are the real terrorist threat facing our nation.
