Maybe, but I wouldn’t grant him that much credit. I see him more like those 20 year old “Big Dom Energy Masters” that just joined FetLife with a profile proclaiming how experienced they are in everything. (“Classes? Munches? Why? I don’t need to hear what other people have to say.”)

I don’t think Ron is scared, he’s just using the biases of frightened, ignorant, and bigoted voters to gain money and power.
Taking advantage of it sure, but he’s scared, look how often he lashes out.
