heh, I’ve used that same correction fluid to fix mistakes in drawings, but never intentionally for highlights. I am a big proponent of drawing with charcoal and erasing out the highlights in a similar fashion but next time I’m working in ink I’ll have to use the white-out.

Try using white gel pens too, I find correction fluid a little too unpredictable (but I do like a bit of chaos in my drawings) and just a bit too bright (although that is fine when the artwork is intended for scanning).
