I keep conflating that with Straw Hat – one or both had a player piano and/or someone playing a banjo; continuous Three Stooges films; dimly lit; early-1900s advertisements on the wall… In hindsight one imagines W.C. Fields narrating the experience.
That reminds me: take the aforementioned Shakey’s/Straw Hat, make it ginormous and more like a Victorian parlor inside, swap out the Three Stooges with Disney or Warner Bros. cartoons, and you have Crystal’s Pizza. That place took out some of the sting of moving to TX as a kid.
Nothing tops this gem from the 1997…
