They had them on sale at Lidl, and parts of my brain were trying to justify it’s purchase, but we have a small kitchen. I do not think it’s use as a melee weapon or BDSM device would have helped me justify it to my gf.
As kids (10?), a friend and I found a huge bag of discarded flour outside a grocery store, had an epic flour fight. Effectively dredged each other.

The savages I had working for me while shipping/sailing in the galley, well knife fights were common, and a fist fight was just a way of starting your day.

Well I’ve lived in Brooklyn for 18 years and in the Bronx for 11 years and never witnessed anything like this. So enough of the glib dissing of NYC
Not a dis. I truly love NYC. Lived there for a decade. That was one of the the wide variety of experiences that made living there so great.
