Here’s a screengrab from a longer video about the iguana - how do you get all the way to making the promotional video with a full size working model and releasing it with “wiper” spelled wrong??
Something involving tanks and yachts? Add some “dictator chic” gilt trappings and this would be a Russian oligarch’s ultimate dream toy.
hopefully nobodies gonna make it front heavy
Maybe that is for the nitrous tanks
I wish they had named it the “Yank”.
I’m wondering if “John” is the operator, or the controls for the head. If it’s the operator, why does he have a radio button after his name? If it’s the head… same question, really.
I also was curious at first as to what a demi-sting was.
Aww, come on. How much could a 50mm gun turret weigh?
Needs an animatronic Nessie head and tail…
only if you have the joy sticks on the dash man
It’s a yank, and I am not looking forward to uperclass twits driving it onto the beach, flattening any and all fauna in their way. But I am looking forward to the first youtube video of one tipping over.
I’m good with my tank-like tank, thanks.*
*Yes, it’s an APC, not an MBT. Close enough for a joke.
If a problem comes along, you must wipper.
That reminds me of the trip my buddies and I made to Michigan’s Warren Dunes State Park back in 1982. A couple of idiots decided to ignore the big SWIM AREA buoys and cruise right up to the beach on their jet skis - not noticing a park ranger was waiting for them on shore. The park ranger opened up a compartment on one of the jet skis, and lo and behold, there was a nice-sized bag of weed.
Last I saw, the jet skis were being loaded onto a DNR trailer and their operators were being hustled off to wherever.
Yeah, with neither armor or a gun this is more of a yacht-dozer. After all tracked vehicles pre-date tanks. And there have been actual tanks that go in the water, but they’re mostly not very sea-worthy. ISTR there was one of the LSTs on D-day had every single duplex drive tank Sherman tank that they let out into the water sink. as they were swamped in the surf.
That’s not a “yacht”.
I was hoping you were going for a whole Crocodile Dundee thing there.
Agree heartily. It qualifies as a power boat, but not a yacht in my view.
Well, that’s not a yacht either.
I was thinking “yonk,” based on the pronunciation of “yacht.” People who pilot them would be “yonkers.” There could even be yonking enthusiasts from Yonkers.
