Yes I saw. That’s why I found it boring and didn’t read it, posting eye candy is bad taste no matter what gender. I admire the fact that women don’t usually indulge…for whatever reason. Actually, I think I’ve seen more on BBS posted by females than males, presumably the tempted among the latter knowing how crucified they’d be for doing so.

It struck me today that it would be very comforting to believe that your partner (in a het relationship) was simply uninterested or unable to look at and desire other people of the opposite sex in the same way that you do. Or how convienient it would be to able to rationalize your own behavior within commited relationships with “biology”. It’s not only reassuring in what is normally an emotionally vulnerable situation, it also prevents you from having to put yourself in the other person or gender’s shoes and empathise if you choose believe that cultural stereotype.
No wonder it persists.
