Considering Donny’s fondness for yellow liquids, pooping isn’t what it’s ideal for.

I just hope news of this decision reached Trump at the worst possible time and nudged him that much more over the edge.

Cosby’s star has indeed been vandalized repeatedly, prompting multiple repairs. Also i did not compare Trump and Cosby, i am pointing out that Cosby’s star is still there and it is my opinion that it be removed. His circumstances are different to Trump but he’s still a reprehensible monster. Is he not?

To be fair, if Hollywood wanted to shoot a movie at one of my properties (i.e., my house) I’d want a stinking cameo too! Except I’d be a sweet and accommodating host, as always.

I’ll be damned, maybe he can act after all!

Huh. Did someone take a pick ax to it?

Yes, Cosby is a monster; but he’s not a threat to pretty much everyone the way 45 is.

Honestly, I don’t really care about the stars on the Walk of Fame; I’m more concerned about the Orange Menace and toppling him from his perch…

Black Cracker. A niche stripper that would likely disappoint anyone actually interested in that niche.

I’m not so sure the chamber has final say over the public sidewalk. Although the chamber may assert it has full control, it acts as an agent of the City of L.A. If L.A. City Council and the Mayor said so, the star would probably go.

Would the law of gallum trump both of them?

Agreed, except to note, in the interests of precision, that there is no city of Hollywood. Hollywood is a neighborhood within the City of Los Angeles, not an incorporated city in its own right.

It used to be a separate city, first incorporated in 1903. But, like so many other areas, it was consolidated with Los Angeles in 1910 to get a share of the water from the (then-nearly-completed) Los Angeles Aqueduct.

(LA was forbidden by Congress to sell aqueduct water outside its own city limits, so the City of LA more than doubled in size in five years.)

West Hollywood IS its own separate incorporated city, though for many years it was unincorporated County territory.

Conveniently outside of the reach of the LAPD Vice squad, It was a nexus for gangster-run nightclubs, bathhouses, brothels, and much else throughout its heyday as the storied “Sunset Strip.”

“Hollywood”, “East Hollywood”, and "North Hollywood "are all neighborhoods within the City of Los Angeles.

“West Hollywood” is its own separate city. With rainbows on the city flag and the municipal crosswalks. (-:

Curiously, there is no “South Hollywood.”

I can understand the Chamber of Commerce’s motive for maintaining the Walk of Fame as a whole. But I’m surprised they don’t habitually remove any star that becomes tainted by even minor controversy. What’s in it for them?

They’re going to remove Kevin Spacey’s too, right?

Save some time and money, you know? I mean it’s right there.

No. I don’t think that will be my stripper name, thank you very much!

i’m not sure how many different cultural milieux one must have encountered to understand this gif … but getting it might be my best argument for multiculturalism moving forward.
