After initially laughing at the pocket hose, I finally caved in and bought one after my neighbor raved about it. We loved it, that is, until a few weeks down the road when it loudly exploded and scared the heck out of family!
I suspect these are fine for occasional use. But I wouldnāt wan to leave the water turned on, or leave it outside in the sun. Still, Iām kinda worried, though Iāve only used mine once so far. I live in a hi-rise with a balcony, but no outdoor tap. (So. Thereās you target audience.) So I grabbed a pocket hose and an adapter so I can hook it up in my kitchen and run it outdoors. Worked great - but if that sucker breaks indoors, itās gonna be ugly! At least I donāt have carpeting, but still. Ugly.
Yep. Need to send it back to the manufacturer. Will do that this weekend I suppose.
