If Trump googled her name he’s gonna be so disappointed.

I can’t stand the guy or his antics, but this is a stretch. Misspelling a name doesn’t mean one is confusing a person with another. Let’s bash him for the actual terrible things he says and/or does intentionally. There are plenty.

It just means that your staff is incredibly incompetent.

It was the only way they could get him to show up for the meeting. He only spends time with the most elegant, really the best, hot babes.

So, accidentally dropping a letter from a head of state’s name makes Donald Rump’s staff incredibly incompetent?

Yes. Bigly.

They’ve also announced his inauguration date as 1/21, and that 9/11 happened in 2011. They’re certainly extremely sloppy.

9/11 happened on November 8th, 2016.

Ah, the glorious “Special Relationship” in action.

We’ll arsekiss your neofascist President until our noses get so bunged up we can’t even breathe. Meanwhile, your head of state can’t even be bothered to figure out how to spell the Prime Minister’s name correctly.

Ah, late-stage capitalism. It’s a wonderful thing.

Much like accidentally posting your twitter password, once is an understandable fudge that could happen to anybody.

Twice in two days (or three times in one document) is a sign of something bigger.

Pro tip for the Trump administration:
James Deen ≠ James Dean and Dru Barrymore ≠ Drew Barrymore. You should double check spelling before posting. Wait, now some staffer has a legitimate reason to search porn sites to check names as a part of their job. SOMEBODY over there is a Wally-level genius.

Point of pedantry: Theresa May is not head of state. That would be Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg-Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.

We should have a non-scientific online poll to see which one’s more popular! I know who gets my vote!

Exactly. I was having a hard time with the “confused her name for that of a porn star” when there are millions of “Teresa’s” out there. It /does/ show major inattention to detail in what you would hope would be a very detail-oriented world though. The offices of the top elected officials in the world largely operate on ceremony and these sorts of things are seen, correctly, as inattentive at best, or worse, dismissive of a world leader.

I can’t even imagine the unhinged reaction from talking heads here if an official document put out by 10 Downing Street repeatedly referenced Prime Minister May’s upcoming meeting with Doland Trmup.

Careful. Invoking 9/11 like that is like Trump comparing his treatment by the press to the Holocaust.

Isn’t there a porn star by that name?

But … funny.

Even though the sound of it is something quite atrocious.
