And, all joking about the wardrobe aside, the thing that most infuriates me in the video is the size and demeanor of their police escort when contrasted with the police “escorts” for demonstrations coming at things from the other side.

Haha, came to say the same. He’s trying to sound like a “powerful orator” but it’s clear he doesn’t really understand how to do that. 
It doesn’t help that the speech is really poorly written, so when he tries to hit the high notes, they don’t land.
