That’s not all that’s been going on in regards to attacks and related actions. On Wednesday afternoon at 15:11, Chicago Public Library system received a bomb threat via email. Libraries in the Cook County area, especially those that are part of the CPL are on alert – again for these and other threats.
Obviously they did not share the email, but the CPL Commissioner said “Given the heightened visibility due to the DNC, it’s possible that other libraries in the Greater Chicagoland area might also be targeted.”
Yay.

it’s certainly a few steps beyond pie-ing somebody in the face, or throwing ketchup on someone wearing fur. those are mere annoyance/humiliation and, IMO, relatively harmless. this is actual harm to health, again IMO.

Not that I’m “pro-bug-eating” per se, but why would I share my delicious bugs with a bunch of strangers?
I mean, I’m not “pro”-- I don’t want this thing to take off because then it means fewer bugs for me.

My suspicion is on MAGA cult members as well. The execution suggests it was a mean prank instead of some sort of political comment. Lefty activists would have been louder and attempted to spread their message. This had no banners, no flyers, no slogans, just immature women wanting to make Democrats miserable.
And yeah, I hope they get the book thrown at them.
