I don’t think the Secret Service view it as their responsibility to stand in the way of law enforcement.

When NY arrests Trump for banking fraud, I expect that his Secret Service personnel will allow him to be arrested. They may have to make allowances for them to protect him while he is in jail or prison.

On the dark side, that’s what future would-be dictators will be doing.
