I didn’t watch the video, but I am familiar enough with US politics to be sure the Abolish ICE person is one of those “small government” conservative Republicans, and the people assaulting her are those zany liberals who never met a government agency they didn’t love.

Outside of the I-5 corridor…yep, checks out.

I was at the Astoria Regatta parade a few years ago with the family ('19), it was all well and good until the timber union float rolled by - some jackholes near us were so proud of their (I assume) trade that they had to scream obscenity laced praises upon the float. Nevermind that there were dozens of kids around…a good “F YEAH TIMBER” is always warranted. SMH.

Then came the drag queen float, which was (and always is) awesome. Those same, ahem, gentlemen proceeded to throw drinks and then turn their back on the queens while screaming about all sorts of BS. They were so loud and obnoxious that the cops had to come over…which led to another scene as they yelled about their freedoms.

Good times in Astoria.

This is why I don’t put political messages on my car. While I still shake my head every time I see a Trump sticker on a car, I would never confront someone, no matter how foolish I think they are, for promoting such a terrible human. But it seems that the other side has no such qualms.
