Fun fact! The first execution in the US was for buggery. Our HS text book also provided a complete list.

Years ago, I had a conversation with an emergency department nurse who assured me that she had personally helped mend the participants of many “urban legends”. She even listed a few of the legends, and thankfully withheld the names.
