“This one simple hack to avoid clickbait (it’s genius!)”
I’ll admit that I did learn something new about the oil and baking soda trick so that was one click not wasted.
I’ve noticed clickbait article ads seem to be getting more and more outrageous and desperate. The other day I noticed half-a-dozen, being served up as ads, that were all about weight-loss. Each made more extreme claims than the previous, until they became physically impossible (“lose 30 pounds a week with this one trick!”). Though my favorite of the bunch was one claiming “this one vegetable” would cause weight-loss - illustrated with an image of gulab jamun. Yeah, I don’t think I’ll lose weight eating Indian deep-fried cake balls in syrup, and I’m sure the actual article was no more helpful or accurate.
(Narrator: the trick is amputating a limb.)

Saved Click through: They lied and/or said something bigoted again.
