Sylvia Seegrist comes to mind. It was local to me, so I recalled that shooting better than most, She had been diagnosed as schizophrenic years before her shooting, and was in and out of institutions a few times. The fact that she was female probably lead to the belief she wasn’t a threat. She was not denied care but they did not see obvious warning signs.Her behavior was so disconcerting that the workers at KMart told her they had no rifles. She left and bought a rifle somewhere else and came back.
At the time of the shooting her mother was trying to get her readmitted to an institution.

guys can we even discuss any gun related thing right after the shooting ?
we need to wait 3-5 month after a shooting to discuss anything gun related
and if another gun shooting happen while we are in the cool down period we have to wait a similar period before we discuss else we wouldn’t’ be objective
anything else waiting period is 10 minutes or less
