A brief history of "cuck"

Come on, that would require a massive drop in testosterone level, and no one could possibly think that their testosterone could…

Based on what I know about the human body, and the way our thoughts regulate our hormones, the Democratic National Convention is probably lowering testosterone levels all over the country. Literally, not figuratively.

Okay, never mind. I wholeheartedly endorse your theory.

I wish I could find more porn pandering to my fetish*, but it seems I’m too much in the fringe.

You’re rather observant. I agree entirely with your analysis.

Cuddles and Caresses? OK, Whatever. Have you tried wearing a fursuit?

A clear case of far too much being read into a silly insult with the sole aim of attacking a particular group.

What is a clear case? Which group is being attacked by whom? I am not clear what you are saying.

A quick google says no, at least for English users. For some reason this Latin phrase is spelled differently in French and English.

The determination of the weak cuckoo nestling to get rid of the competition is amazing to see.

Color me flabbergasted.

If I recall my Shakespeare correctly, he was a fan of the insult as well. Although, according the contents of this thread there are apparently some recently emerged nuances to the idea.

Some of the raceplay is still a little weird, but it’s one of those things where I try to step back and avoid making overbroad judgments.

Orrrrr you’re possibly the one not properly thinking through your douchebaggery!

Funny how we’re he only ones thinking about what comes out of our pie holes. I’m sure your opinions are good and valuable.

Not really, cuckold in porn or fetish scenes generally means black man on white woman*, and the right wing that uses it is a white guy who fears minority (African American, Arab) domination of their particular country, of being “outbred”

There’s more racism to it than the strict definition, but the definition is still of someone who lets (minorities) have sex with their wife.

*The ones that aren’t mixed race are more likely to be called “hot wife” etc.

It does start to look like the right wing had been taken over by 4chan teenagers.

Well, it doesn’t help that loopholes are kinky.

That was one of the most openly hateful, proudly racist things I’ve read in a long time–and I get routine hatemail from Neo-Nazis. Yikes.

The English loanword is simply “ne plus ultra,” so I would have been in the clear. However, I italicized it, which means I’m indicating the use of a foreign phrase, i.e. the Latin (meaning “nothing greater beyond”).

In Latin, though ne and nec both mean “not”, I suspect that when treated as a subject, the “nothing” should be nec.

For example, “The nec plus ultra” or “There is ne plus ultra” would be OK

but “The ne plus ultra” and There is nec plus ultra" would be wrong.

Did I get it right? It’s been a long time since O-Level Latin was a thing.

I removed the italics, obviously.

I have seen also non plus ultra, and don’t know if it is significantly different. (I have only encountered Latin in my travels, but never studied it.)
