Substitute “Dem establishment” if you like. Or “the billionaires and their corrupt minions who functionally control the Democratic party”.
Just because the GOP make cynical and hypocritical use of it doesn’t make it false.

GOP politics are two parts racism to one part classism. Modern Dem politics are two parts classism to one part racism.
Using the foulness of the GOP to deflect from any mention of the vileness of the Dems is whataboutism in its purist form.
