Just listened as Nikki Haley condescendingly told NPR that she didn’t think that Trump’s demand for investigations of the Bidens was “good practice,” but that it was “incredibly arrogant of Congress to try to take this away from the American people in an election year.” Holy fucking shades of Merrick Garland.
I started shouting at the radio then and had to turn it off 
; that’s been happening a lot lately, and it isn’t healthy. There are ample reasons why Trump must go — corruption, cruelty, ineptitude — but on a purely personal level, I need his administration to end because I won’t survive much more of it.
I’ve started scaring passengers in my car because if someone blows through a stop sign, I’ll move up slowly but deliberately to cut them off. I am so sick of the rules not mattering anymore. We can’t have a functioning society if a majority thinks “everyone else better follow the law, but I don’t have to”.
The old “resisting arrest” without an actual charge to arrest him in the first place. The courts should hammer that bit of “cop law”, but probably don’t.

The only “90%” statistic was a goal set by the VA about the percentage level they’d like to meet for trust in the VA program among vets.
