I don’t think you really want to know. I certainly don’t.
I wonder if any guests thought, “He’s the prez, yet he can’t stop Dems from destroying the country. What a wimpy loser!”
Oh for fuck sake.
Doesn’t that mean that Michael Flynn could spill the beans on everything without fear of self-incrimination? (Not that it would happen.)
Because the virus happenings thread is locked:
Also…
Thanks trump!
Not a surprise, but saying the quiet part out loud is pretty important right now.
Don’t know if you guys got wind of this or not, it was all over the office this morning. There should be a special place in hell for folks who think stunts like this are fun…
Anybody else wondering why if oil is flirting with super low prices over the past couple of weeks, why are we still paying high prices at the pump?
Checks to see if we have a new interim administration…nope?
Then…nope.
Expensive oil flows out of the ground, through the refineries, to the pump at light-speed.
Cheap oil moves at a snail’s pace.
Complex answer: retail fuel prices always lag months behind the raw price of oil/barrel.
Simple answer: Profiteering!
I filled my tank up for 1.75 a gallon the other day.
No shit, Sherlock…
That’s only when the prices are low. When prices are high, the effects are somehow immediate.
“Rise like a rocket, fall like a feather.” Always.
As a gas station manager explained to my mom years ago, new gas that gets bought at a higher price makes the price go up immediately to cover the cost, but new gas that gets bought at a lower price doesn’t cause the price to go down immediately because they’re still working on selling off the more expensive stuff.
I dunno if I necessarily buy that, but it seems like the reasoning they go with.
I guess it’ll be off-limits for Trump now. No rallies, no Mar-a-Lago, how will he survive?
