Really, the details kind of blur, as it’s all about sadism and a sort of solipsism that makes them think only they count, and really only feels any sort of satisfaction when they see “the undeserving” suffer. It’s a sort of parasitic trait that infests humanity, where susceptibility might even be based upon biology. The churches are merely infection vectors where this infection is amplified, and defence mechanisms weakened.
No, really, it pisses them off to no end to suggest they have a mental illness that can be treated.
The Catholic Church is wise in one important area: Before someone can be made a Saint they have to be dead and there has been enough time since their death for the dirt to come out. I have no doubt these rules came about for good reason.
