I know it is wrong to celebrate death, but when it happens to an anti science authoritarian because of their anti science beliefs it is difficult not to hope that it results in a few science deniers to take the vaccine.

I wonder if he was also on coumadin (warfarin). About the age where a lot of people are, whether for atrial fibrillation or to prevent heart attacks or stroke from atherosclerosis.
Because, in case anyone here cares, there seems to be a nasty interaction between blood thinners and ivermectin. Of course, the supply of ivermectin is apparently gone until October, and in the meantime there are going to be a lot of very unhappy ranchers, farmers, and dog owners.

I have always believed that. However, recent history has pushed me to prefer the greatest good for the greatest number.
If the good these antivaxxers do by dying of COVID outweighs the harm they do by staying alive, I’ll vote for pragmatism.

Hydroxychloroquine, Ivermectin, and as this pandemic continues I’m sure there will be more drugs people take rather than just get vaccinated. It’ll follow the same path: news story appears “drug for treating (rare disorder) to be investigated for treating COVID-19” and people rush out and buy the drug.

Nah, it’s only wrong when you hope many more anti-science authoritarians ignore that example and die as a result of their beliefs, resulting in a slightly less anti-science and authoritarian populace. Which is where I’d stand except for the suffering and death they spread before succumbing.

Are these people taking whatever dosage and duration would work on worms or is it ivermectin all day every day until they die of COVID? I know they are all nuts but after seeing that so many are taking it I was wondering if they have a consensus on how to take it.

At some point, I’m going to need read a one-pager on what people believe ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin and the like are supposed to do to Covid-19. Why are these big-parma drugs supposedly better than the other big-pharma approaches. I guess I should have kept up better, but I just don’t get what these remedy are supposed to do.
