An anti-Vaxx Georgia police captain who took ivermectin as his COVID-19 treatment is now dead

Sage advice, though probably too sciency for the COVID users.

Another sad result. We can’t even save them from themselves.

I find it amusing that some in power on BB strongly discourage victim blaming, while another faction publishes articles that make it almost impossible to avoid.

When the person is a victim of their own willful ignorance and encourages others to share that ignorance, blame away.

If enough people purposely lay in front of oncoming trains, despite everyone waving their arms frantically, well… is the cause of death train or stupidity?

Not flip at all. Mr. Ed and his friends (like at rescues and sanctuaries) suddenly can’t get the medicine they need because idiots & assholes are buying it out. “Get it while it lasts,” this dipshit said, like he wasn’t personally responsible for it not lasting, and for ultimately no good reason whatsoever.

You don’t have to be in the minority, just recognize there are only two responses to these stories: fury and mockery. And both go good with Mr. Ed.

Oh, I didn’t hear about the death of that maggot.
Steele claimed to be an alumnus of CIA, but I am not inclined to trust the statements of a career fraudster. I don’t think the Company ever confirmed or denied a connection.

Yikes. another:

Earlier that month, Mr. Wallace had organized a “Freedom Rally” for people who were “sick of the government being in control of our lives.”

He founded the San Angelo Freedom Defenders, a group that hosted a rally to end what it called “Covid-19 tyranny” according to a YouTube interview.

Mrs. Wallace, who is pregnant with the couple’s fourth child, recently told the San Angelo Standard-Times that when her husband first felt ill, he took a mix of vitamin C, zinc, aspirin and ivermectin — a drug typically used to treat parasitic worms in both people and animals that has been touted as a coronavirus treatment but was recently proved to be ineffective against the virus.

It’s a different approach, so people feel like it’s secret knowledge. It’s the myth of our hot sauce is better than brand x. All of the second tier drugs they’re recommending have been tried in studies, with either minimal or no benefit, and no signs they increase survivability. It’s insane to go in to a doctor and say “even though this is your day job and you’ve been watching people die from this bug all day for a year and a half, give me substandard treatment”. But that’s where we are.
