I already find this a more convincing argument than the one that anti-mask-guy was making.
These people are a threat to individual’s health and safety. In simple self defence — Pepper. Spray. These. Fuckers.
Heh. I’ve done this.
They called my name over the PA system. I did not finish that beer.
That’s hilarious. It’s like watching Steven Seagal get his fat, fake, ass kicked.
I recommend they all take a manly Freedom Welding class, and demonstrate their manly Freedom by refusing the librul anti-freedom welding mask, and the socialist welding gloves. [edit] Or pants.
Took a nap in Heathrow and nearly missed the flight to my own wedding. What saved me was…
Masks tend not to stay in place when you’re screaming at someone. Chewing gum has the same effect.
I don’t want to wear a mask because freedom! And I don’t want you to wear a mask because freedom!
Republican logic indeed.
Well, when they say “freedom” they mean their own freedom, never other people’s freedom. When have you last seeing a republican defend to their death the rights of a campus socialist to say what they want to say?
That is a police academy worthy video. Distraught dingbat who may turn full Miss Crazy, and might have a loaded weapon (assume nothing, prepare to deal with the worst) and the brave and pissed off traveler were classic. It really did not seem quite real to me. I am just a civilian, whose only contact with police is that a marital family member is a retired cop. But even though it seemed like an acting class improv skills exercise, I think it is real and that brave confrontational woman is a cop. She had all the moves. Undercover cop.
I’ve had no problem talking or shouting with a mask on.
It’s not hard to readjust them and it’s almost impossible not to be aware of it having slipped.
ESPECIALLY when the shouting is at and about someone not wearing a mask!
No excuse.
I’m’a quote myself here
This guy has seen to many movies and eaten too many lead paint chips or some combination of both.
They are “complying” and owning the libs at the same time. They know exactly what they are doing.
You really have to wonder how many “regular Germans” thought the Nazi rhetoric was a load of hooey but didn’t do anything about it. Or figured “they’ll only get 30% of the vote, so let them rant.” I’m really concerned with the fact that 30% of Americans believe or are at least willing to tolerate this. That’s a LOT of people - and they are really fucking things up for everyone.
I always thought laughing so hard that you bounce up and down was just a TV thing, but it just happened.
(Edit: I forgot how awesome these forums are. Why did I ever let work distract me from them?)
The revolution started at Gate 32, the 10:35 to Des Moines.
That’s a good point. It combines the comfort of wearing a mask with the safety of going maskless.
I think the same thing when I see a cyclist with an unbuckled helmet.
Tell me you want to get taped to a chair without telling me that you want to get taped to a chair.
Not, yet, an arrestable offense to be stupid in public or to harangue other people in a public setting.
Suppression of expression just leads to a feeling of martyrdom and fuels conspiracies. (See? They don’t want the truth to be known.)
Bring back the public speaker corner in parks that used to be common and let the nuts regale each other as they wait their turn to rant.
Calm refutation and presentation of facts is best. Laughter works well also.
