AOC hands Rep. Yoho's cowardly nonpology right back to him

You could even say that Goebbels was an honorable man. By standards I reject, but he was willing to live and die for them. The current crop of fascists blow with the wind and aren’t even willing to put money where their mouths are.

I can’t wait to vote for her for President.

I think you could say he was a devoted man. The object of his devotion being genocide.

In a later response, Yoho said, “Not only will I never apologize, I will be suing her for a severe injury to my rotator cuff. It is the result of all the high-fives I received from the rest of the GOP racists, incels, and cowards - whom you know as congressmen.”

I agree with the AOC sentiment and think we as the electorate also benefit from always maintaining an eye on every political representative, balancing our belief in the individual rep with never letting our guard down—no matter how noble and proven they are. This is due the representative’s current involvement in a traditionally and evolvingly corrupt political system that corrupts.

Excellent choice of words.

Say what you will about the tenets of National Socialism, but at least it’s an ethos!

I’m sure Rep. Yoho says the same to his wife and daughters, should they cross him in any way. Might use his hands, too.
It’s one of the planks of the Republican Party.

Saying “I have a wife and daughter” as a defense after using a vile sexist slur is like saying “I have black people in my family” after calling someone the N-word.

It doesn’t make it better. If anything, it makes it worse because you just used a term that demeans and dehumanizes the very people the speaker purports to love.

I have one from her original primary challenge campaign. No way I’m getting rid of it on eBay. This thing will be framed for my daughters to see.

Hm, Duckworth? I am from Chicago and love the woman, but i think it will be Kamala. If Biden wins, he will hopefully stay for just one term and then it’s Kamala (OR Tammy) for a term or two. AOC’s turn would be in 8-12 years and I cant wait for that day. She is only 30 and I am drinking one, as I am typing this, to her!

It is the party before anything else. I can draw soooo many conclusions out of that, but you get it.

My own preferences would be either Lujan Grisham [1] or Duckworth, with Harris pulling up third. As for AOC (as noted previously) I want her to have a long career, and one of the flaws in US political culture is that we retire our Presidents rather than letting them continue in the Senate or the Supreme Court.

[1] Read it like it was hyphenated. Spanish surname convention; she was born Lujan and married the late Mr. Grisham.

Hypocrisy is always fine if you’re a Republican.
Remember this:

  • Republicans. Have. No. Shame.
  • For Republicans cruelty is always the point.
  • Southern culture is entirely about white male supremacy

There is no politician in Washington I admire more than AOC. Reading her words are inspiring; listening to her speak them though moved me to tears.

I wish I could buy stock in AOC. She is totally awesome.

Re: The Presidency

AOC already has the intelligence, education, poise, and maturity by taking drunken, sexist men to task more than most members of Congress. She is ready now.

As for members of Congress with more “experience”? Just because you have experience doesn’t mean you have learned anything from it. Look to our current administration for a prime example.
