Always a good read!
Also, I knew about the “smell weird” thing from a writers’ room interview, but the whole not washing legs thing is a new one! We white folks have the lamest memes…
And for the record, I do wash my legs and try my best not to smell like a wet dog. But sometimes, you just gotta hug a wet dog, and then all bets are off for a while.
I’m washing my legs, right now!
I hope that Capitol insurrectionist who was complaining about unsanitary conditions in prison doesn’t hear about what some celebs are doing by choice.
Whew! I thought that you were going with vaginal steaming ala Goop.
Thank you.
oh, my.
look, even I, a simple male organism, can understand that the female genitalia is a very resilient and tough set of organs (which is why the “insult” of calling someone a p***y is stupid), BUT is there not some limit to the abuse one can take? is it not time for a sort of intervention on Ms. Paltrow before she really hurts herself (or gullible followers)?
edit to remain on topic: suppose they can’t do these types of “self care” in prison for trying to overthrow the government.
but I still think the goop lady needs a serious talking to.
Green dry cleaning. Now of that perc for me. I really shouldn’t be giving her any ideas.
If you want steam - go to a steam room.
Tick, tick, tick
Thread. Prison time for Donnie.
It would interfere with his Hitler moustache?
That would be ironic, considering the Hitler mustache style was invented specifically so it wouldn’t interfere with masks
In the hours and days after the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, rattled Republican lawmakers knew exactly who was to blame: Donald J. Trump. Loyal allies began turning on him. Top Republicans vowed to make a full break from his divisive tactics and dishonesties. Some even discussed removing him from office.
By spring, however, after nearly 200 congressional Republicans had voted to clear Mr. Trump during a second impeachment proceeding, the conservative fringes of the party had already begun to rewrite history, describing the Capitol riot as a peaceful protest and comparing the invading mob to a “normal tourist visit,” as one congressman put it.
This past week, amid the emotional testimony of police officers at the first hearing of a House select committee, Republicans completed their journey through the looking-glass, spinning a new counternarrative of that deadly day. No longer content to absolve Mr. Trump, they concocted a version of events in which those accused of rioting were patriotic political prisoners and Speaker Nancy Pelosi was to blame for the violence.
Interesting
Can’t get past the paywall. But the book report/movie review strategy sounds familiar. It may have been the target of some snark on this very thread.
Yes, I recall it. Learning more about the woman behind it was interesting. Fucking paywall
