I love the concept. Not so much the stilettos. I tried them on once and my first impression was WTF are these ladies thinking? IDGAF how tall you are, but holy heck you must be in pain with every step!

Likewise. When I was a younger man I danced in them for a show. What I learned was that, while I wouldn’t ever wear them as daily drivers, wearing them without pain is very much a matter of form. Would I go jogging in them? Heck no. But they can be worn without pain and when you do so you pretty feel bad-ass.

This is why I prefer Chucks. The last time I wore went out in three inch heels, I could not walk unassisted at the end of the day. All a torturer would have to do is wave a pair in front of my face, and I’d sing like a canary rather than walk in 'em.

I dunno about the Perdue/Ossoff race but there is a lot of bipartisan dislike for Kelly Loeffler down here. She definitely got more bad press for the stock thing around here than Perdue did.

I’m 6’6’’ and have enough scalp scars to know that the standard doorframe is 6’5’‘. If I threw those on I’d probably just feel odd. And I apologize to my 6’9’’ friends.
I used to love the All-Stars. I used to turn them into improvised sandals after the heels wore out by slicing off the back. Then my feet got huge arches so they didn’t work since they are made for flat-footed folks.

I love boots, and a lot of the tall ones have high heels. Every year, I find more manufacturers making ones that are flat or with 1/4 inch heels, either of which can be worn for hours and still look good.
