I think that a big chunk of Republican Party will cause a breakup of it getting a Republican party and a, let’s call it, fascist party, in the aftermath.
They know that bending the rules will work both ways and even if they got back the presidency against the popular vote, the price will be too high.

2000 was determined by an ongoing count with less than 600 votes difference. The lead is just too big here. Plus every judge is tossing out Trump suits for lack of evidence. No state court wants to have this whinybaby bullshit in their court. SCOTUS can’t touch anything here like they did in 2000.
Also lets face it, voter turnout and media images of the candidates in question were a lot different than this one.

Yup, this. 2000 was different. Victory hinged on a a single state and a razor thin margin.
Trump would have to fight - and win - major and unlikely victories in multiple states simultaneously - all before January.
He’s literally begging supporters for donations to fund his legal team, and lawyers are very expensive.
I just don’t see this happening.
