The good thing is, that probably can’t happen this time. He’s been arrested on federal charges and is being tried in New York by both the NYC human trafficking division and the FBI. Minimum charges are 12 years, maximum about 45. Which means that the only way he can get out of this is if Trump decides to pardon a man convicted of sex trafficking of minors. Which, given Trump’s long and close history with Epstein and the long-standing accusations of Trump raping 12-and-13 year old girls supplied by him, would probably be a bad idea.

And I think most Democrats would be 100% okay with Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, or whoever else going down along with Trump if it means dealing with people who supported and abetted a serial sex trafficker and rapist of young girls.

If someone were offering me even money, it would be a long list of people I’d bet had abused children at Epstein properties/parties. Bill Clinton certainly makes the list.
I think that’s goes without saying on these boards. In the leadership of the Republican party? Pretty sure Epstein could implicate Trump and it wouldn’t have any effect. Now if Epstein could arrange for God to descend from the clouds with “Trump raped children” carved on stone tablets I bet it could lower Trump’s approval rating by 3-4 points. For two weeks.

Though the plea deal was in Florida. I don’t think those were federal charges (he served his light sentence in a county facility). Does SDNY have jurisdiction over the plea deal?

I’m with you on that. And putting him in jail for a long time or rest of his life is sadly probably only possible if you take away his power (money). This kind of rich scumbag, jail, sure, but if you really want to punish him you have to take away all his money. This is why trump is so afraid that everybody will find out he has not nearly as much money as he postures. So take away his money, then if you put him in jail he may actually stay there.
