Calling what Arby’s serves “meat” is pretty daring.
Though prostitution requires further definition. For a long time, I paid most of the bills when I went out with my last girlfriend. She had money problems, and just couldn’t pay.

I’m sure your “girlfriend” would be delighted to hear that you thought of your relationship that way.
If the tables ever turn and she ends up supporting you for awhile, will you again think of the relationship in terms of prostitution? (Nvrmnd, I know the answer.)

If you’re not sure whether your girlfriend is a prostitute then just ask.
- If she says “of course, you didn’t think I was having sex with you because I wanted to, did you?” then you know where you stand.
- If she punches you in the face and storms away then you know you’re an asshole.

I find your dad’s story both dismaying and heartening. My metaphorical hat is off to him, and I’m glad he found a congregation he could believe in.
