Why not link to Ben’s specific tweet?:
Nice about being old is I don’t know who clickhole is, I do know what capn crunch is. What do they have in common? I don’t care about either of them.
Watch Squirrely Dan from Letterkenny talk about how Canadian and US Capt’n Crunch is different.
It should start at 2:25
Clickhole’s a comedy site, a sort of sister site to the Onion that relies more on incongruous non-sequitur humor than parody or satire. Speaking as someone who is also old, you make a non-point. Also, announcing one’s lack of caring about something is never really a good look on anyone of any age.
From the title, I was thinking about the phone phreak.
To be fair, there’s less blood and mess involved in cannibalism than eating cap’n’crunch.
I have fond memories of the “buttery” crunch. (and if I’m careful I can avoid mangling roof of my mouth.) But currently I eat very few carbs so I’ll pass.
If Clickhole is really just picking things at random and saying those things are stupid and should be killed, then surely it’s fair game to treat Clickhole the same way
What a bizarre interpretation. And no, there was no instance here of something being treated the way it was treating something else.
picking on Cap’n Crunch? those monsters!
I remember that Kacey Musgraves concert.
My first guess was that this was actually underwritten by Cap’n Crunch, hoping for some of those Internet-irony-relevance bucks…
Any other neat internet stuff from all the way back in May that we should be talking about now?
Is this like Jon Stewart ragging on Arby’s sandwich shops?
This May 2017 Coal “article” is pretty great!
It’s kinda more alone these lines: The Onion is to newspapers as Clickhole is to websites like Buzzfeed.
Why does Cap’n Crunch exist in the first place? My thoughts exactly!
