Very likely he is talking about drag queens. They are drum beating the idea that drag queens are corrupting children. So the idea of story time reading to children. Which I also don’t think was even a thing there.

But also any trans woman is a “drag queen” to them since they deny their actual sex. The whole thing is a mash of hate that doesn’t have to make sense, because all of it carries the same message of who to hurt.

Revisiting my previous statement from elsewhere, you can’t really change the world, but you can affect your tiny little corner to make it kinder, gentler and more peaceful. And if millions would do that, it would add up. In the end, though, what you do in your personal world matters. Often more than you will ever realize.

I’m pretty sure that’s a bunch of right wing bullshit, since I’ve only seen it coming from right wing bullshit sites… If you can find that on any website that isn’t fox news or the washington examiner, I’d love to see it… But here is what has been confirmed about the shooter:

So maybe? But as you say, it does not matter. If they were gay, trans, whatever - they still shot a ton of people based on right wing conspiracy theories about trans and gay people grooming children. The ONLY reason to know this is to use the correct pronouns, but you know that that is not what the right wing will use this bit of information to do (if it’s even accurate). They will use it to further demonize the LGBQT+ community and justify their hateful rhetoric. I don’t want to see our community here play into that shitty game.
