“Nice job you got there. Shame if something happened to it…”

Something smells illegal about this. Hopefully someone with the ability to provide more information alerts their state AG and/or the ACLU.

I’m afraid the use of the word “could” lets him off the hook of the most obvious illegality.

I’m guessing this isn’t a union shop.

So, a company whose business is livestock handling equipment is worried about a Biden presidency? Seriously? Oh wait…

“The socialist Democrats want to shut down American energy. They support Rep AOC
that’s a real beauty…The green new deal, which would would crush our farms, destroy our wonderful cows. I love cows. They want to kill our cows. That mean’s you’re next” -trump

I was just going to post that this is illegal… but I suppose everything from the gilded age is making a comeback.

We really need a legal system that is based on the spirit of the law rather than technicalities to let the elite get off time and again.

so if he has been doing this “for years” what kind of message did he include from 2008-2016?
Since he is still in business I assume he urged everyone to vote for Obama.

Republicans are awful. They have yet to redeem themselves. I used to think, “Oh, they are just misguided. They’ll come around.” No, they won’t. They put this shitshow in motion and have the gall to call every Democrat a crook while their guys face conviction after conviction. We know who the real criminals are. I’ll never vote for another Republican again, even in local races. I reserve the right to be skeptical about Democrats, too. But no Republican will ever get my check mark for as long as I live.

So weird. I thought that DMC already laid off all its factory workers decades ago, during the Reagan administration.

I wouldn’t invest in a business that didn’t know how to position itself for opportunities under changing circumstances.

Poor management.

I think he means with the deregulation for environmental protections that Trump rolled out, the company may no longer be able to freely pour chemical waste into the rivers, thus face the costs of proper disposal.

That, or the owner just wants to take it out on someone. Probably start based on perceived ethnic background and go from there.

Yay! Citizens United! /XLs

“It may rub you the wrong way, but yes, your boss can tell you how you should vote. Thanks to the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2010 decision in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission, private employers are no longer barred from discussing political matters with their employees. For example, the Koch brothers, billionaire owners of the giant pulp and paper company Georgia-Pacific, are urging their company’s 45,000 employees to vote for Mitt Romney, or “suffer the consequences, including higher gasoline prices, runaway inflation, and other ills” if President Obama is reelected." -kiplinger

(Citizens United: “Citizens United is an organization dedicated to restoring our government to citizens’ control.” and by “citizens” they really mean overlords, oligarchs and corrupt politicians)

AG seems unlikely. See “Florida”

Yeah, because fuck the little people. If they speak up and talk back to their bosses, guess what happens to their job.

Meanwhile, the conservative American Enterprise Institute says that the Biden tax plan would only raise taxes on the top 5%, lower it for most others, and have a negligible effect on the economy.

Certainly not the doom and gloom predicted.

Global warming has been bad for the cattle industry the past few years. Too little rain, you can’t grow feed. Too much rain and you get results like this

And if Trump wins, don’t get sick. If you do, we’ll fire your ass and you’ll have no access to health care.
