Jeebus, that smirking mugshot. He really does have the most punchable face.

I can remember when people thought that being part of the “conservative Christian” group or aligning with the “moral Majority” made them a better person.

With Trump, I can’t tell.

Has the average Republican realized that they are evil? That they are the bad guys? That they aren’t conservative, they aren’t moral, and they aren’t the majority? Have they just openly embraced the evil, or are they still in denial about that?

That their heroes are shitty, shitty people?

To be fair, they were always wrong. They just hid it better…

Good riddance.

I hate to say this, but in large families, where there is one abuser, there sadly often others. Watch them like hawks.

A long prison term, I hope.

According to Q, Democrats are pedophiles, so therefore, Duggar is a Democrat. This gives those evil clowns an excuse to distance themselves: “Well, well, he was a Democrat the whole time! Who knew?”

The most punchable face?
That boy has a lot of competition for that title.
Even so, no sense in possibly hurting your hand when baseball bats are easy to come by.

Oh, they still do. Better than the likes of those who aren’t them

Of course not. They aren’t ‘Republicans’ any more, either. They belong to a Facist Death Cult,

No. All those evil Others are the bad guys.

Nope.

Yes and yes.
Cognitive Dissonance, you see.

How dare you malign the finest people in America [and therefore the world]?
ETA:

They didn’t think they were [or are] wrong, though. And you are a better person than me if you would offer fairness when it won’t be reciprocated. Texas Bible Thumpers are pretty fierce.

Not around here. They still dont.

Nazis ask themselves "are we the baddies?"

The difference between these guys and modern conservatives? Modern conservatives aren’t aware enough to ask this.

As someone who grew up in Kansas and Oklahoma with tons of conservative family and friends, I can assure you that he is netiher a “conservative icon” nor a “Christian icon.” Nobody I know cares about his show or thinks he is a good person. At least not that I’ve heard.

“Reality TV Star” would be a better descriptor.

They still don’t in fact.

I wasn’t being fair to them, but to what they believe of themselves. They’ve always believed themselves to be god’s elect and therefore infallible, even when sinning by their own metrics.

I live in the south too, and am familiar with bible thumpers.

I think the difference is that white evangelical groups had some measure of “moral authority” even outside their group (or at least people were willing to pretend they did). I don’t think that holds anymore, now that the mask is off. They can’t plausibly pretend to care about the things they pretended to care about, before because they’ve made it clear what they really care about is white supremacy and authoritarianism.

What’s next for Duggar — a Gaetz internship? A roadshow with Empty Gee and Paul Gosar?

I’m thinking a wellness podcast with Kyle Rittenhouse.

I wanna join the christian coalition
So I can molest my children
None suspect me 'cause I’ve been saved
'Til my stepdaughter drowns her kids in a lake
Weh oh, Weh oh ho
Spare rod, spoil the child
It’s the life
It’s the stink
Choose your masks

It’s almost as if Jello knew what people were capable of!
