Yep. This is exactly the sort of stuff little Donny would sneak a look at when Dad dragged him along on family business, or from the other kids at the boarding school they were incarcerated in. His whole idea of what it means to be a man comes from these magazine covers.

Also where he gets the idea an electric boat would be too heavy to float, and would zap him.
