Breitbart himself was a Hollywood wannabe who just wanted to party with the cool kids in L.A. as the token rock-n-roll conservative who said scandalous things. Bannon’s bigotry is the real McCoy, a toxic and bitter sludge of anti-Semitism, white supremacy and loathing of liberals who get in the way. They likely found more common ground over their both being sweaty messes with substance abuse problems than they did over the details of ideology.
