how long ago did he steal it all, and he still hasn’t managed to move it? anyone even remotely capable would have sold it all long before now and gotten rid of the evidence.

For the sake of national security I hope the papers he possesses are ancient classified docs that they gave him to use as scratch paper along with a pack of crayons.
For the sake of national sanity I hope they can still bury him for having them.
So, to sum up what we know at this point:
- Donnie took home tons of top secret classified documents.
- Some of those related to nuclear weapons programs.
- When asked to return them, he initially refused.
- He finally returned a small portion of them, claimed that was all.
- But everyone knew what was still missing.
- They asked again; he refused again.
- They got a subpoena; he ignored it.
- Finally, with the knowledge reported by an inside source that classified secrets were just floating around a private residence in America unsecured where foreign nationals visited on a regular basis and could gain access to them, they sought a warrant from a judge.
- Judge granted the warrant.
- They executed the search quietly, while he was away, to minimized his embarrassment.
- Donnie willingly blew it up into “the darkest day in American history!”
- GQP started screaming about the evil FBI planting evidence.
- Some brown shirt MAGA man decided to attack an FBI regional office.
- Finally, the head of the DOJ said “it was legal, we’re happy to provide the proof, but will give Donnie a chance to block our release of the warrant and list.”
- Donnie says he won’t block it (we can take bets on that; I bet he’s lying and will block it)
- And here we are
Whether or not he’s selling secrets is another topic, one not proven in any way. Conjecture entirely, but all too fitting given Donnie’s endless criminal past, so believable to those of us who have seen through his grift since the 80’s.

It’s also possible that he did the VP thing in the hopes that trump would kick the bucket shortly after getting into office (or during his term) so that he could take over.
But that’s just my conspiracy theory thinking there.
