Elderly man shoved to ground by Buffalo cops in horrific footage

Then I really hope it’s not the one with the pig.

I don’t watch that show like everyone else seems to;

I’ve only seen 4 eps, including the exceedingly distasteful pilot ep you mention; and yet I still know that I don’t ever want to be in ANY episode of BM, except maybe San Junipero.

From what I understand the rest are pretty fucking grim and hopeless, to the point that they’re not airing the next season as planned, not during all the upheaval that’s going on in the world right now.

(Fuck this dystopian reality bullshit.)

Also, please stop that.

In cop-world that makes perfect sense. You’ve already got one down and bleeding; now to move on to the others and get more down and bleeding.

It would indeed (be both interesting and appropriate).

I fear, however, that the enraged-by-phantom-‘attacks’-on-their-lifestyles (oh, and also enraged that black lives matter) ammosexuals (and that includes both police and non-police) would see this as an excuse to escalate.

And someone somewhere on one side or the other would then lose control, and then all hell would let loose. Then again, it might be this era’s shot heard round the world and properly start the festering civil war.

It is starting to become clear that perhaps the US does actually have a tyrannical government that an armed citizenry may wish to defend itself against. It is now certainly a legitimate question for public debate.

These 57 malcontents need to go jump onto a bunch of picnic tables at a tailgate party from a great height or something.

Correction: folks there actually find that kind of thing to be fun

Sorry. Since your reply didn’t make sense, mine really didn’t. Undeleted.

Watching the video, I got the impression that the old guy knew exactly what he was doing. Textbook Ghandi. He’s got more courage for doing it than I do.

If only. They’re still cops, they just quit the Emergency Response Team.

So, now that these cops are peacefully protesting, does that mean we can beat and gas them?

That rings a bell. Wasnt that the essentials of plot for a TV series? With the actor who played Lady Sif in Thor? Yeah, can’t remember her name, but remember the role she had in the MCU. I am one of those.

It made me think of Zelazny’s Chronicles of Amber. Although “antifa ringleader” is not exactly what was going on in those.

Loved that series! At least the the first few. Got kinda formulaic as it wore on, but great concept. And yeah, I can see that.

I’d be looking at firing all 57 of them now.

The two cops are now facing criminal charges

Mayor Brown said that the union pushed those 57 officers to quit the special team

He said something stupid also

Buffalo cops are protesting at city hall

Where are the shock troops and “riot control agents” to disperse this “imminently violent protest?” Sadly, you are correct. If it was truly one bad apple, that apple would be culled by all the good ones. That doesn’t happen. Not because there are no good people in the police, but because the culture does not allow for those good people to be good people. Loyalty to the corps is demanded over any other loyalty. You know, like any other organized crime syndicate.

This is ridiculous. If that were the case, why wouldn’t they detain him? He was right in front of them. They could have easily cuffed him and removed him from the scene. Lord knows there were enough of them there to spare one officer as an escort. Why would they shove him violently?

ETA: all questions are rhetorical. Aimed at asshat Mayor.
