Elon Musk is back on his weird tweets again

The acronym for the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences spelled backwards is SATAN.

Hey, Mr. Musk, hire me to write your tweets!

He’s an ass.

Disclaimer: I do not own Tesla stock, I cannot afford his premium merchandise, nor do I want to live on fucking mars.

Seriously; I’d start a list of people I could happily live the rest of my entire life without ever hearing another single, solitary word about them, starting with 45… but if I did that, then muthafuckas would only continue blathering on about them endlessly.

This is definitely my favorite flavor of the Musk defense… It was persuasive to me until I realized that Musk deeply hates public transit, and public infrastructure in general, even though all his companies rely heavily on government contracts and subsidies. We should look to public policy to drive renewable energy, not playboy billionaires.

It’s great that he loves electric power so much, no one should fault him for that. I much prefer his businesses to those of the Koch brothers for instance. But the notion that swapping luxury gas cars for luxury electric ones represents the greatest effort to curtail fossil fuel use… well, that’s falling hard for Musk’s PR machine. Personal electric cars and home batteries are part of the solution, but not the main ones by a long shot.

Those are about the most harmless “weird” and “inappropriate” tweets ever. If this is what he needs to tweet in order to keep himself from calling people pedophiles or trying to manipulate the stock market with “funding secured” stupidity, he can make all the “weird” jokes he wants.

Didn’t even realize you were talking about me.

When I saw it, I immediately thought he was faking. I think he knows how to toke, just wanted a “but this was my first time” defense.

I can see Elon sitting there at home sends Jack a DM and says watche me fuck with these people…

Well that comment aged well. /s

When assuming, you’re making an ‘ass’ out of ‘u’ and ‘ming’

Even though those are completely innocuous comments, I’m glad we’ve called him out on it. As stuffy, 17th century nobles, it’s our duty to point out how his remarks are ‘unbecoming’.

The greatest trick the devil ever did was to be a publicity whore while complaining that people talk about you.

Musk, the “playboy billionaire”, " hates public infrastructure" and “all his companies rely heavily upon government contracts and subsidies”? But you were once on his side? How come I don’t believe that?

You actually disagree that “Musk is doing more than anyone else to actively transition the world away from a fossil-fuel-based transportation system”? Well, please enlighten us all with your choice of someone doing more than he is.

The transportation sector is the largest emitter of GHG in the US. He is transforming that sector. His company is producing luxury sedans, SUV’s, and smaller mid level sedans. Soon to be entry level sedans. Soon smaller SUVs, pickup trucks and semi rigs. All starting from zero infrastructure. With no special subsidies available to no one else, unlike your claim. Which is why he needs to start with higher-margin cars - an economic fact you choose to hold against him and portray as his true mission. He actually is explicit about his mission. And that is to electrify, to decarbonize the transportation sector.

You do not want to give him credit for this transition. Curious, considering the leading executives of the major car manufacturers say the opposite. No doubt they are mistaken, but at least they don’t despise public infrastructure, right?

Eh - Mary Barra brought the first consumer level long distance electric vehicle to market before Tesla.

And it’s not cutting edge tech - the first ev was in what 1820? There were many manufacturers in the early 1900’s - hell - NYC had a fleet of electric cabs back then.

And we went to the moon half a century ago. Don’t get me started on his crappy weed burner or underground 100 year old roller coaster tech.
