Tom cotton is my exact age. I just turned 43. Ive officially reached the point when waiting for these assholes to die off is no longer a viable option. If that guy is put on the court there is a good chance he’ll be there most of my remaining life.

I work with people in their 20’s that are rabid Trump supporters. The conservative movement to influence higher education has worked well, and, frankly, they grow up in such homes, steeped in Fox News.
I think if they were going to die out, it would have happened already.

yeah its depressing. I was specifically talking about the assholes on the supreme court dying off, but yeah to your point it has become very clear that its not just an older generation problem we have. I suppose a lot if people thought in the 60s that the younger generation who hated the war in Vietnam and Nixon and supported free love and civil rights were gonna fix all the problems in the world and yet… here we are…

I’m not going to give Republicans a pass on this. Trump has been registered as a Republican for decades- far longer than any other registrations he’s had over the years. He was their nominee- he’s their President- he still has their support after all of his actions and inability to meet the demands of the job.
Trump is what Republicans have made themselves over decades. He’s a Republican and they’re the Trump Party.
