EXCLUSIVE: Even MORE shocking video of the Covington teens

Two points that might interest you.

  1. Trump did not make his money, he inherited it.

  2. No one’s saying that these schoolboys are in the KKK. Given that the KKK has historically hated Catholics it is pretty improbable that they are. I would simply suggest that they are just shitty kids entitled by their whiteness and their social class. Although the apparent white supremacy hand signs is an argument that at least some of them do have a more thought-out notion of why they don’t need to treat First Nations people with any respect.

THIS, yet again.

I don’t even know those kids or care enough about them to “hate them;” but I am damn sure mortified by their unacceptable behavior and by the tone deaf defenses of that behavior. Even more so, I am furious at the society which fostered this kind of ingrained systemic hatred, apathy and an unwillingness to acknowledge the reality which most of us do not have the privilege to ignore.

“They won’t even admit that the knife is there.”

Some of us are capable of reading the news as well as watching it on da telebision.

a couple things here…first YOU aren’t going to allow? Just maybe methinks you should rephrase that. Additionally…I am a white male. I don’t have white guilt for being white or male guilt for being male…but that doesn’t mean I cannot express and feel empathy for others who have had to deal with a whole host of problems and issues that I got a free pass on…further more, it does not mean I am succumbing or admitting guilt by doing so, it just means I am being a good person who is…and hold onto your hat on this one…TREATING OTHERS HOW I WOULD LIKE TO BE TREATED. hoo-boy, now who was it that preached that again?

Lastly, and this is really important…perhaps, instead of looking at those other folks who are angered about this and saying “Well, I don’t know why your shorts are all in a bunch!”, maybe just maybe…try this: “Ya know, I don’t understand the outrage here, can you help me out by helping me see what you see?” and then…this is the really important part…you listen.

Considering that the Catholic Church was one of the big parties to the cultural genocide against Aboriginal people, and not just in America, I am hardly surprised by this. I would not be surprised to see that there is a strong bias built into the curriculum.

I hold a lot of parties complicit in this shit-show.

And it seems like it’s time to haul this out again:

I will argue there is one difficulty setting that is significantly easier than SWM.

Filthy Rich. If you have the game on that setting, you pretty much win the game without ever even playing it at all.

Oprah couldn’t buy a handbag in Switzerland.

Is Oprah’s life better than mine? Sure.

Does she have extra irritations and challenges that she wouldn’t have as a SWM? Yesyesohyes.

like I said…they don’t even have to play the game at all.

But I will say in Oprah’s case, she made her fortune through a lot of hard work on her part. So she DID play the game and in my book earned it.

I’d amend that just a little, because I still suspect even the richest women in the world have to play a little bit of this game you speak of, more than equally wealthy men.

I object to anyone being as rich as Oprah, but Oprah is not the example I would choose for why it’s a problem.

It was my example. And it’s not to show she has the biggest problems in the world.

SWMs usually have less barriers to success across all levels of society, when other external factors are equal (wealthy, poor, technical, cultural).

That’s in agreement and support of your link.

We’re hating on their behavior towards a person who comes from a still oppressed minority.

I went beyond throwing up in my throat to that thing that Randy Marsh does in that episode of South Park when he can’t stop vomiting and shitting and farting, in disgust.

At least these people leave a clear Trail of slime behind them so we can see exactly where they come from, almost exactly like the Slugs they are.

I may be differing only in degree, but I would be very surprised if they gave it so much as a thought. Native people are essentially mythological to them.

Aren’t these the kids that casually wear blackface at basketball games and did a tomohawk chop in response to a Native American drumming?

checks footage

Yep, they most certainly are. And let’s see the arguments against empirical evidence. I see we have the argument that they were provoked into racist actions that somehow shattered the timestream and had them dress as minstrel performers for years and years, that it’s not that they are maliciously racist but only so casually racist they don’t even know what they are doing is racist and that’s perfectly :ok_hand:t2: (I mean it must be that use that sign in photos a lot), and that a paid PR firm’s written statement and coached teenage prop is the more trusty source than the same footage from multiple angles. Never mind, ol’ cooky Eldar Phillips is a Vietnam era veteran and not a Vietnam veteran so the whole thing is just fake news and we can let these boys be boys.

remember the old saying–“there are on the order of 8000 nerve endings in the clitoris and it’s still not as sensitive as white men on the internet.”

Framing is what I was thinking, more than anything. Centering the Church as helping, not harming. Fuck, I still sometimes hear people mutter along the lines that “at least those [residential] schools gave them an education”.

The Catholic Church’s track record in this area is… Well, I am pretty sure I would get moderated if I gave my unbridled opinion, so let’s just say “not good”.

I do not understand how so many blindly ignore the racist Jews but condemn them bad white boys and pile on anyone who is not openly hostile towards them. Racism comes in many flavours.

For the record, I am Ojibway Canadian.
