When he hired Tim Parlatore, lots of people were like, oh, Trump is actually taking this seriously because Parlatore has loads of experience in white-collar criminal defense and isn’t just a P.R. person masquerading as a lawyer. Then he left after only a year due to infighting on the legal team and Trump taking bad advice from unqualified people like Boris Epshteyn.
