My pick, Next public photo he poses for, he will be clean shaven. Famous and powerful men don’t shave to prove they don’t have to obey silly rules. When they are just scumbags that got found out, and fired? their PR flack points out real men either grow a real beard, or shave their chin, they don’t look cool as an unemployed bum, by looking like they can’t make their mind up.
(Disclosure . Poster is usually sadly unshaven, but it suits a bum, to look like a bum.)

Yep. The two choices are grow a beard or don’t grow a beard. The half beard half stubble combination doesn’t really work for anyone.
It would be better for everyone if Fox News fails, because they spread misinformation and not news. Also, it would be even better if sexual abusers were punished for being sexual abusers. I’m not sure which one of these things you take issue with.

Considering the world-view that Fox News was intended to deliver to viewers, it was inevitable that this toxic culture developed organizationally.

Maybe it was the other way around - Ailes had problems decades before he founded Fox News. Surely he had enablers along the way.
Its a cheerier version of events because it means Fox was pulling the audience deeper into the crazy zone rather than the audience pulling Fox. Which gives me hope that with enough house-cleaning fox might start pulling the audience out of the depths of crazy into the shallow waters of mere disillusionment.
Its a slim hope. But still…

Sorry, no, I’m agreeing with you. It’s the headline that’s smugging all over the couch. “FOX NEWS IN FREE-FALL” = “A few jerks in free-fall, Fox News’ popularity and general bias remain absolutely unchanged.”

However, tot homines quot sententiae, and I personally consider the original to be offensive to my aesthetic standards. But I suspect more people agree with you.
I didn’t find it offensive, just discordant with my rather nice memories of the original.
