they plan to install cameras in every class room soon they can monitor kids as well as broadcast the teacher. and if they see kids being “disruptive”, they will be isolated and forced to watch the class from the separate room
there are 55 schools participating, and they’re all ( or mostly all ) minority majority schools.
also very cute, they promised significant teacher salary increases ( by eliminating 500 jobs ) and then - after the teachers signed up - announced it’s a sliding scale based on subject so some are getting pay cuts.
Conveniently, it allows them to monitor the teacher so that if they say anything deemed offensive to the State, the suede denim secret police will come take them away.
Also, being charged 250k for board out of his compensation
