Instead, it must rally Democrats together—at every stage of the nomination and confirmation process—to fill every vacancy with judges dedicated to justice and equality. More than 30 national organizations already agree. Now more than ever, our courts—and our country—demand nothing less.
And furthermore, the Supreme Court Needs nine extra members.
Well, no, because then we’d have an even number (18). 10 would be better (19).
I don’t know anything about them or why someone might want to do this.
Thanks!
That was so worth the time.
Lucky for me, I wasn’t near this, but a bunch of people on the 4th were saying “Fuck Today” at my Apt. Complex. Carport caught fire, completely destroyed 6 cars, and melted cars across from it as well as singing surrounding apartments.
Yeesh.
I guess this makes me sorta glad to be moving in a few weeks.
This one is what happens when a rogue fails a save vs dragon breath.
Bloody hell, what’s wrong with people!
Translation, please?
D&D.
Or Dragonslayer
It’s a Dungeons and Dragons joke. In the past you had a specific savings throw where if a dragon breathed fire at you, you had to roll a number higher than your “save vs breath weapon” stat. Fail it and you would get damaged.
So the car in question was a Rogue ---- ooohhhh I see what I did. Again. A Rogue, not rouge.
If a Rogue failed its saving throw it would get torched - which this poor car did! At least that one looked drive-able still.
I haven’t learned what caused it, but given the multitude of screw up on BB the last few days, it not hard to imagine something got out of hand.
Someone just seriously fucked at least 6 peoples’ livelihood.
Thanks, guys!
it’s been a few years but somebody managed to burn down an (unoccupied) building down the way from me by landing fireworks (accidentally) on its roof. that was a fun experience. thankfully the fire department was able to contain it before it spread
oh! and there was a kid who burned up part of oregon’s columbia river gorge four years ago. drought and fire do not mix well. or maybe too well.
glad no one was hurt with the fire where you are. the melted cars are wild. hopefully insurance will cover getting them new ones
There are some replies to the study.
Expert reaction to research claiming ozone hole over tropics
July 5, 2022
Dr Paul Young, Lancaster University and a lead author of the 2022 WMO/UNEP Scientific Assessment of Ozone Depletion, said: “There is no ‘tropical ozone hole’, driven by the author’s proposed electrons from cosmic rays or otherwise. The long term changes and year-to-year variability of the ozone layer in the tropical lower stratosphere (~15-20 km up) are well understood to be the result of both human-driven processes and natural drivers.
