I like this idea. Of course, they won’t do it.
I picture LePage sitting by his rotary phone every night, waiting for it to ring. “C’mon, Donald… I can be your best friend! I kicked a puppy today and said some racist stuff, didn’t you see that on CNN? C’mon, ring… ring…”
Given that LePage has bragged about being Donald Trump before Donald Trump was cool, I imagine it’s more like he keeps calling the front desk at Trump Tower and asking - in decreasing levels of politeness - to speak with The Don. Don’t You Know Who He Is?
Are they Putin us on?
So: how many Chadians denied education and medical care? How many dissidents tortured and murdered by the oil-backed government? How many dead and impoverished from the climate impact of the oil?
The effects within the US are the least of the damage Trump will do.
I just can’t even.
Didn’t that story break a while ago?
I am disappointed that this doesn’t seem to work very well:
No mention of Chelsea Manning or Edward Snowden.
Not surprised. Saddened, but not at all surprised.
Grounds for impeachment on day one were the Congress to feel like it.
Indeed. Except Congress won’t feel like it.
I think there’s a fair chance the Congress will eventually loath Trump enough and have had enough time to work de-Republicanize him from the tribe that they can try to force him into either retiring or impeachment. The sad news is we’ll have either a de facto Pres. Pence, or an actual Pres. Pence and both are toxic. He’s a silver haired Cruz.
At some stage, maybe.
They won’t do it on principle, only on polls. So it depends on how well the inevitable bribes work and when it all comes crashing down.
This seems like a good idea:
Putting it here because the KKK seems strangely relevant to this election.
Yeah, what the Klan really needs right now is a public relations campaign.
Today is really turning into a “burn it all down” kind of day…
