Fuck them. If they really want to honor those others, they can make a list including everybody, but to leave out the Jews entirely is a pretty clear statement of anti-semitism.
(Note: Holocaust Day is pretty explicitly in memory of the Jewish victims, so I acknowledge that mentioning other victims might be controversial for some, but it would still be a damn sight better than what Trump excreted.)

OK, so there’s no reason to expect stuff posted on Sputnik to make any sense, but this is a whole new level of nuttiness.
I mean, it starts from an unstated premise that the collapse of the Warsaw Pact was a bad thing, and then gets worse. Reaching this conclusion in the end:
Yes, it’s directly comparing Trump to the puppet leaders of East Germany and communist Poland at the time of their collapse.
I really can’t even. The piece could just as easily be an elaborate driving trollies of Sputnik by some dedicated prankster acting as a contributor, regular driving trollies by Sputnik aimed at the most unhinged segments of their audience, or an internal Kremlin memo that accidentally got translated into English and posted online.

In Act One (after the intro), producer Zoe Chace attends the DeploraBall, a party for trolls and others who say they memed Trump into the presidency.
I didn’t get much out of the rest of the show, but that first act was an eye-opener.

Nixon’s way of dealing with Vietnam was to work with N. Vietnam via Claire Lee Chennault to block the peace accords before he was elected to damage McGovern, which is really a special kind of evil. It was long suspected, but they found the notes to prove it:

While there’s no good proof of a deal, there’s abundant evidence the Reagan campaign staff was communicating with Iran before the election, and the sudden release of hostages on his inauguration seems like a deal was made there too.
Trump’s handlers appear to have taken that one up to eleven by working with Russia to interfere in the US election - no hard proof yet, but given his crew and their known regular contacts with Russia during the election it would be more shocking if they weren’t.

It goes beyond that, though she was a particularily nasty brand of asshole (she claimed Richard Spencer wasn’t racist only trolling PC culture). Twitter is the surface level of trolls who latch onto memes to carry their general awfulness into public, /pol/ calls the election the meme wars and the joke of cult of kek is being taken literal by some.
As for the rest of that episode, it shows a few things. A border patrol agent complaining that he was forced to show basic human decency to people crossing the border, saying he Trump was there guy because they would let him do his job of protecting the border instead of being forced to give people water and drive them to jail. He makes no mention of what that dream of his is, but he does make sure to say Trump’s vision for a wall was of a figurative wall and that a literal one is useless.
Then you have the carrier employees who are basically a microcosm of the Midwest justification for voting Trump; he was that business guy on TV and probably wouldn’t do all those awful things he said he would. Then they come back and see he makes the Carrier deal about himself and showed the employees that the company is who made out on the deal and not them.

I’m betting on June, though it’s so hard to tell. He went from 0 to Nixon in 10 days, and with Brannon on the Security Council that really could accelerate things.
