If anyone was curious: The auction of the firearm used to murder a innocent child by the living piece of shit commonly referred to as George Zimmerman, and now being hosted by itâs 3rd site (that will remain unnamed), had a starting minimum price of $5000. However over the last hour one person, through 6 different bids, has inflated its value up to $8200. What do you think his motivations are? To take it and destroy it? Or to turn it into an idol?
UPDATE: Bidding war has pushed the current highest bid up to $24,850. Faith in humanity? Dead.
UPDATE 2: $52,890. Same two guys bidding each other up. Trolls or devote white nationalists?
UPDATE 3: $100,000. New bidder in the mix. Starting wonder if this might be a troll, that or I am just unable to figure out who would be willing to give someone who should currently be rotting in a Florida State Prison a 100,000 dollars.
UPDATE 4: So 99.9% sure itâs a troll at this point, and I really should stop looking at it but the bidding price is currently around $400,000 and looks like itâs on its way to $666,666. Just wanted to point that out.

Ha ha ha! Iâm putting money on troll. Anyone with an account can bid in any auction, thatâs it. Nothing else required, you donât need to input any actual personal info, credit card numbers, address, nothing. You ask how I figured this out? I bid on that monstrous piece of metal. I donât know exactly why or how it happens; but some people seem to cross the line from willingness to consider the possible necessity of defensive violence(sometimes paranoid, sometimes justified, and we certainly need some people doing it since assorted menaces are frequently overstated; but quite real); and go straight to fantasizing about the glorious moment when some perp makes their day, the confining social norms regarding lethal violence fall away, and they finally get to score some kills. Zimmerman really seems to have been flirting with the latter position.
So long as I can mostly wash my hands of violence because I live in a pretty safe area and have professionals(incidentally, am I correct in remembering that you are one of the ones who ensures that the various containerized goods I consume make it from Point A to Point B unscathed?) to handle the various applications of violence that are involved in maintaining me and my lifestyle, I canât really fault the people in the first group; but the violence nerds in the second group? Creepy as hell.
